    Position :FOR

    DOB - 10.08.91

24 year-old Fochabers based Craig is a pacy left-sided midfielder who has featured extensively for Keith FC for a couple of seasons after moving up from their Youth side.  Impressive performances against Mechanics convinced Charlie Rowley that he could do a job at Mosset Park and increase his options on the left flank, so he was recruited at the start of season 2012/13.  A constant threat to opposing defences, turning defence into attack in an instant, strong in the tackle and deceptively powerful in the air. Played over 40 games for the club last season which deservely won him the players player and sponsors player of the year.

    Days of Old

Forres have had many notable players over the years. In 1910/11 a Forres side featuring "Suff" Nicol, a player who had signed from Forres to play two seasons with Hearts and now had returned to Mosset Park achieve an enviable record. The team played Elgin four times in eight weeks, each in a different cup, winning each game. In the early 1920's names such as 'Chatter' Taylor and 'Doodle' Dickie attracted much interest as well as scoring many goals and regular pics for Highland select teams.

    Player Success

The very successful team in the late 40's to mid 50's features names like Wisniewski, Kinloch and MacIntosh. A number of glamour ties during this time against the like of Motherwell, Clyde and Celtic attracted attention. Robert Kinloch was signed by Hibs and James MacIntosh by Falkirk. MacIntosh went on to play for Scotland under 23's against Holland and England. To date the only Forres Player to have been capped for Scotland.
