Forres Mechanics came back from two goals behind and take all league points back to Mosset Park. Forres did take the lead after 26 mins through Pollock but then lost two goals before half-time when MacKenzie and Booth gave the home club the half-time lead. Turriff then went further ahead when Wood scored just after the hour mark but Forres pulled a goal back three minutes later from Lee Fraser. Stuart Soane then pulled the Cans level and Alan Pollock hit the winner three minutes from the end to cap another amazing comeback. F/T- Turriff Utd 3 Forres 4.
Forres lost by the odd goal in seven away to Inverurie on Wednesday night and played most of the match with only 10 players when Scotty Moore was sent to the stand after only 22 mins into the match. Inverurie took the lead in the first minute through McCabe and went further ahead nine minutes later from Hunter. Forres then pulled a goal back after 13 minutes through Soane but then the home side went further ahead with Donaldson hitting a double to put his side into the lead at half-time. 10 man Forres got themselves back into the game with a penalty from Allan after 65 mins and Soane who scored four minutes from the end but Inverurie held on their lead and ran out the winners. Forres Mechanics crashed out of the Highland League Cup when a single goal from Cove Rangers was enough to settle the tie with an Eric Watson goal just after 15 mins. Forres Mechanics are delighted to announce the signing of 19 year old Allan MacPhee on a two year pre-contract from Inverness City. The attacking wide player joined City from Inverness Clach where he played for youth team from ages 11-16 and made the 1st team at 17. He then went out on loan to Inverness City and scored 13 goals in his 1st season. He has remained with City for the last few seasons and has scored 10 goals this season in his prefered position on left side of the wing. He is also a trainee personal trainer and will join up with the Cans in preparation for the 2017/18 season.

Forres came back from two goals down but couldn't prevent another league defeat away to Cove Rangers who had the lead at half-time with a double from Megginson. Stuart Soane got the Cans back into the game with a double also of his own but Cove hit the winner 15 mins from the end from Matthew MacDonald who got himself sent off three minutes later. Forres Mechanics recent unbeaten run came to a end on Wednesday night when they lost 2-1 at home to Brora Rangers. The 1st ended goaless but Steve Ross scored two Brora goals within three minutes of each other to give the away side the advantage.
