Forres comeback to take all the points

Written by

Forres came back from two goals down to claim all three league points in an exciting match played in Inverness today.  Clach started the better team and took the lead just after the half hour mark through Maclennan and added another six minutes later from Lawrie and went into half-time with a deserved lead. Forres came out in the 2nd half a different team and pulled one back six minutes into the half with Liam Baxter, and then Stuart Soane pulled the club level just before the hour mark. In the last twenty minutes Forres continued to press for the winner which came with Craig McGovern just five minutes later before Soane capped an amazing comeback and his 2nd of the match. FT Clach 2 Forres 4.

Last minute winner for the Cans

Written by

Forre Mechanics took all three league points in their  fixture away to Fraserburgh. Forres started brightly and took the lead after 14 minutes through Liam Baxter which remained that way until half-time. In the 2nd half Forres made it two when Baxter stroked home a penalty just after the hour mark but the home side had other ideas and pulled a goal back from Ryan Cowie and three minutes later they were back in the match with an equaliser from Harris. The game was not finished there and Lee Fraser hit a last minute winner and take all league points back to Forres. F/T - Fraserburgh 2 Forres 3
