Forres Mechanics FC are delighted to announce a welcome return to the club for Mark Holmes, who will be assisting manager Steven MacDonald by taking up the role of first team coach.
Mark is no stranger to Mosset Park, having played for the club during the late 90’s, and also during a spell which saw us lift the North of Scotland cup in season 2004/5. Other clubs during his playing career include Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Falkirk, Ross County, Clachnacuddin, Buckie Thistle and Nairn County.
Mark has had a successful career in coaching since hanging up his boots, having coached across Scotland and abroad. He also founded the Mark Holmes Football Academy in 2017, which now has 3 branches across the Highlands, as well as 2 branches in Ghana, West Africa.
Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the club and we are delighted to have him on board.
