Club Legend Lee Fraser Retires

We are saddened to confirm the recent news that club captain Lee Fraser will not be returning for the 2024/25 season, with a persistent knee injury forcing his decision to retire from his playing career.

Lee joined the Cans back in 2010 along with his twin brother, Graham, at just 17 years old and has gone on to become a stalwart of the club both on and off the park. He quickly became one of the best strikers in the Highland League, most notably evidenced in the vital role he played in the League winning side of 2011/12 – a squad of which he is the last remaining player!

It is understandable that many clubs may have tried to lure him away from Mosset Park over the years, but none ever turned his head as contract after contract was signed for him to remain a Can Can – and for this unwavering dedication and loyalty, we cannot thank him enough!

Plans are in the works for us to really honour the career of this club legend – but in the meantime we hope these words can be a start to giving Lee the send off he deserves.

Lee has rightfully gained the admiration and respect of fans, players and clubs across the league, and we are sure they would all join us in wishing him all the very best for the future!

14 years.
152 goals.
Countless Great Memories.
1 Lee Fraser.

Thank You! 🏆🙏🙌
